WRDA launches “Anti-Racist Actions for Everyone” resource
15 June 2026 - The Women’s Resource and Development Agency (WRDA) has updated the practical guide, Anti-Racist Actions for Everyone, aimed at supporting individuals, workplaces and communities to challenge racism and promote inclusion across Northern Ireland.
The resource provides clear, accessible advice on how to respond to racism safely and constructively, including guidance on bystander intervention, having difficult conversations, and a handy list of everyday anti-racist actions we can all incorporate into our lives.
The guide also encourages wider action, including advocating for anti-racism policies in workplaces and schools, and continuing personal learning through recommended resources.
On the 13th June over 3000 people gathered outside Belfast City Hall and in Derry/Londonderry to reject racism. This resource is intended to equip all of us with the tools to be actively anti-racist. The resource is designed for use by individuals and is part of WRDA’s ongoing work to build an equal society where women are empowered and are a visible force for change and influence in all areas of life.
