“Economically Inactive”? Train as a WRDA Community Facilitator
This September The Women’s Resource & Development Agency’s Award Winning Community Facilitator Programme Is coming to Belfast.
This 6 week programme will run every Tuesday starting on Tuesday 16th September at the Women's Support Network, 109-113 Royal Avenue, Belfast, BT1 1FF, 10 – 1.30pm.
The Community Facilitator Programme offers local women the opportunity to complete a Level 3 OCN Award in Learning and Development, develop facilitation and leadership skills, and increase their employability in the learning and development / community sector. You will also gain employment opportunities delivering WRDA’s training programmes on a self-employed basis.

To be eligible you’ll need to be economically inactive and aged 18+. The UK Government defines economic inactivity as “individuals who are not working, have not been looking for work within the last 4 weeks or who are unable to start work within the next 2 weeks. Examples of economically inactive individuals include individuals not looking for work because:
they are students
they are looking after the family or home
of illness or disability
they have retired”
