Women in Leadership

Women in Leadership is all about giving women the confidence to challenge ourselves and use our skills to make a meaningful difference to our own lives and communities. It will help you by increasing your confidence and sense of empowerment and may provide a bridge into further education, training or employment.

The OCN Level 3 endorsed course will be held on Friday mornings and run for four weeks starting Friday 29th May with the final session on Friday 19th June 10-12.30. The venue will be the Women’s Support Network office (109-113 Royal Avenue, Belfast, BT1 1FF).The course is practical and experience-based rather than academic, focusing on existing skills and how to use them to create positive change. The training content will be informed by WRDA’s work on barriers faced by women accessing adult education and will include approaches designed to address these.

Eligibility

Absolutely no prior education or training is required – just an interest in developing your skills and how to use them to create positive change. Participants will live within Belfast City Council area and be able to participate on the dates advertised.
