WRDA History
The Women’s Resource and Development Agency (WRDA), formally known as Women’s Education Project (WEP), is an established regional women’s sector organisation. The organisation has been established since 1983 providing training, community development, policy work and service delivery to individual women and community based organisations across Northern Ireland. The agency also acts as a development organisation for women’s groups across Northern Ireland, enabling the diverse needs of women to be recognised and addressed, particularly in areas of high social and economic disadvantage.
