Policy

Despite 40 years of legislation, starting from the Equal Pay Act of 1970, women remain unequal in economic, political and social life in Northern Ireland. We are unequally represented in political and public life and for this reason it is extremely important that we engage with the process of policy making.  WRDA is an active participant in a number of policy fora and this section details some of our main areas of work.
