Outreach Worker attends Fwin Networking Event

25th September 2015

On Thursday the 10th September, WRDA's Outreach Worker Paula Murray attended FWIN’s Annual Networking Event. The event was very well attended by voluntary and statutory organisations and services from the North West and throughout the region. In terms of networking and promotion for the Breast, Cervical and Bowel Screening Awareness Training Programme, it proved to be a very successful morning.

In addition, the event provided Paula with an opportunity to promote the Breast, Cervical and Bowel Screening Awareness Training Programme for Women with Additional Support Needs.Fortunately, even with the holidays, the summer months for the Breast, Cervical and Bowel Screening Awareness Training Programme for Women with Additional Support Needs have been very busy.

Paula has been delivering the Breast, Cervical and Bowel Screening Awareness Training Sessions to Adult Centres, Drop in Centres, Groups and Organisations from within the Belfast, South Eastern and Northern regions. The response to the Breast, Cervical and Bowel Screening Awareness Programme for Women with Additional Support Needs from the Belfast and South Eastern regions continues to be a very positive one. To date, the response and feedback that Paula has received from the Adult Centres, Groups and Organisations from within the Northern regions has also been very positive.
