International Women's Day Launch 201618/02/2016
On Tuesday 16th February, this year’s International Women’s Day Festival was launched in the Black Box, Belfast.
Women came together to enjoy pizza and wine and learn more about what this year's festival has on offer. A video produced by Jenny Bell kicked off the night, reminding people how important International Women’s Day is to the feminist movement.
The event was Mic Controlled by the hilarious Jenny Hutton who kept us entertained all night.
We had speakers from numerous organisations take the stage and tell us more information about their upcoming events for IWD.

Lastly, Helen Crickard (RTA) took to the stage to urge people to attend this year’s Rally on the 5th March. The rally will gather for 12.30pm at Writer’s Square, then make its way to the City Hall for songs, speeches and a buffet.
